The Federal Way Hawks Junior Football Association’s cheerleading team finished up in second place at a national cheerleading competition in Las Vegas on Nov. 29.

The cheer competition included nine teams from around the country and the Federal Way Hawks placed second in the spirit, pyramid, dance and overall competitions. The team includes Felicia Sanford, Nycole Rogers, Tara Fee, Arionna Hall, Taisia Wise, Celeste Wise, Janelle Razor, Aryeonna Jackson, Araceli Paredes, Angelica Paredes, Victoria Hoffman, Chloe Snell, Alliyah Bates-Carector, Allanah Bates- Carector, Makaila Wise and Hannah Brewster.

The team is coached by Eileen Uson, who is assisted by Heather Edmundson.
